Chronology of cameras Kodak
The model A of the Folding Pocket No.3 is obviously positioned as the first in the series. By the fact, this series is particularly long. It is made of a succession of models thatsometimes, for one, comes in an infinite number of intermediate variants and hybrids.
This can be attributed to the evolution in technology, but also to a highly developed sense of marketing at Kodak.
The model A is very bare, very simple compared to models that will succeed it. The primitive lens is fixed on a wooden plate, covered with the same leather as the rest of the body of the camera. To start operations, you must pull this plate. The distance setting is rudimentary as a needle attached to the side of the plate supporting the lens should be positioned in front of a scaled ivory plate. But there is almost a centimeter from the tip of the needle and the scale and we can be suspicious about the accuracy of the focus.
The viewfinder is reversible with an unnecessarily complicated system.
The serial number of the copy is on the vertical stand.
