Chronology of cameras Kodak
The model E-4 was subject to many variations, shutter and lens combinations. On this copy, the shutter can be triggered pneumatically through a pipe connecting to a metal tip (It remains a small portion of that pipe) and a bulb. In the nozzle, a piston lift a rod which presses on the release lever.
Unusually, the shutter has a frame counter. A tiny round window, close to the lens displays the number of the shot.
The plate that supports the lens and the shutter is dual chromate metal. It moves vertically in a U-shaped chrome plated metal piece.
