Chronology of cameras Kodak
Wollensak often collaborated with Kodak to provide shutters. Both companies being located in the city of Rochester, it can explain this. Conversely, Wollensak manufactured lenses, and it seems that it made little or no subject of collaboration between the two companies.
On this model, the shutter is a Wollensak Autex. It offers speeds from the second to the hundredth of a second. There is also a bulb in one stage (B) and time in two stages (T). The unusual position O is intended to lock the shutter.
The front of the shutter is made of brass. In addition to the speed scaled plate, a second plate for the scaled apertures is screwed on the front. If we look closely, we see a double scale for apertures. One begins to 5.6, and another partially dimmed begins to 6.3. At this time, we do not waste!
The lens is a Zeiss Kodak Anastigmat No.2, subject of a patent application in the US on February 24, 1903.
Note the rotating side stand associated with the tripod mounting thread.
