Chronology of cameras Ising 

Type 1 refers to the classification adopted by McKeown's.

The Pucky are cameras looking like twin lens reflex, but technically much closer to the box cameras. Early models did not have focusing. They are made entirely of bakelite and their lines are pretty soft.
The shutter button is on the front.
A threaded cable release socket is curiously isolated on the left side.
