Chronology of cameras Pentax
1992 saw the launch of the Zoom 105-R (long telephoto), the Zoom 90-WR (weather resistant) and the Zoom 280-P (wide angle lens). The Zoom 280-P was also called the IQ Zoom 280-P in the USA.
This model incorporates most of the features of the Zoom 105 Super which preceded it, and some new ones. It has five flash modes (auto, on/off, "B" on/off), timed exposures (1 sec - 10 minutes), exposure compensation (+/-3EV, 0,5EV steps) superimposed exposures, continuous exposures (up to 36), exposures at intervals (10 sec - 60 minutes), spot AF, constant image size, infinity focus, and an adjustable viewfinder. It carries a wireless remote release in the left hand end. It must also be one of the first cameras to have red eye reduction, and the 'panorama' function.
