Chronology of cameras Zeiss Ikon
The 515 models in the Nettar series are the equivalents of the Ikonta 520 models. These are the smallest cameras in the 4.5 x 6 format. Compared to the Ikonta cameras, the Nettar cameras are less well-equipped in terms of lenses and shutters. It's also worth noting that the Nettar cameras have only two-part struts, while the third part on the Ikonta allows for a complete folding of the bellows (in theory). They were primarily manufactured before the war, with production continuing until the fall of the third Reich. Towards the end of the production period, a model with double-exposure prevention (516) was introduced alongside the initial model. However, production did not resume after the war. As is customary with Zeiss Ikon, there are countless variations resulting from combinations of lenses and shutters.
