Chronology of cameras Olympus
This camera belongs to the first series of Mju zooms and was assembled in China from parts made in Japan. It was available in piano black or silver finish.
There were at least four separate models: 1. the mju zoom 140 (this one), 2. the mju zoom 140 quartz date, 3.the mju zoom 140 quartz date/panorama, and 4. the mju zoom 140 deluxe (as for No 3 but in silver finish and gold trim). There appear to be corresponding Stylus models in the USA.
