Le (Contessa) S312 est construit sur la même base que le (Contessa) S310. Y ont été ajoutés un télémètre couplé et un pare-soleil intégré. L'exposition est automatique.
La production a été très courte, Zeiss Ikon cessant toute production. Le modèle continuera sa carrière quelques temps sous la marque Voigtländer. Il s'appellera alors VF 101.
