Chronology of cameras Kodak

Traduction de Sylvain Halgand

Starmite II (1962-1967) differs from Starmite (1960-1963) by the form of its parabola of flash which passed from a round form to a rectangular form and by the addition of a black plastic hub cap around the lens.
This slightly modified model will be manufactured in France under the name of Starluxe II.
Differences intern compared to Starluxe II: the lower part seems identical in both cases. In the case of Starluxe II, the flash functions with a battery of 22,5 volts, a condenser is quite visible. The battery is shifted compared to the position of the parabola, it is what makes it possible to have the button of extraction of the bulb (PF1B) in the axis of this one. In the case of Starmite II, operation is done with two batteries AA, placed just behind the bulb, from where the position above the camera, of the button of extraction of the bulb. There is no condenser. The bulb is of type AG-1.
