L'Optio 60 est sorti entre l'Optio 50 et l'Optio 50L. Il a un viseur, donc un écran de taille limité à 2 pouces. Il ne semble pas exister d'Optio 60L, sans viseur. Le modèle à 6 MP sans viseur sera l'Optio S60.
L'Optio 60 a un capteur de 6 MP et est tout simplement l'évolution de l'Optio 50, avec un capteur plus défini. Le zoom évolue également pour s'adapter au nouveau capteur.
