Chronology of cameras Focal

Focal was a brand of Kmart department stores in Australia and New Zealand (not related to Kmart USA).  This camera was almost certainly made by Sedic, the indicators being the circular lens mount (not threaded) and the reference to a "Color Corrected Lens".

Sedic sometimes over equipped its' cameras, and this camera is fitted with a tripod socket and a cable release socket for people who wanted to carry a tripod and a mechanical timer with them.

The Focal is identical to the Instaplus EF-2, and similar to the Sedic XP-1 and Hanimex XP-1, but with two apertures for cloudy/flash and sunny conditions.
