Chronology of cameras Pentax
Pentax advertising of the time described this as a “no frills” camera, but in fact it has many additional features hidden away in its menus. It was about twice the price of a basic "no frills" Optio, although of course it is slimmer and has a 5X wide angle zoom lens too. It is strange that Hoya/Pentax chose to minimise its many features. There was a version of this camera with a black body and orange top, and another with a white body and silver top.
