Chronology of cameras Ricoh
This is a very stylish but very basic design from the early days of consumer digital cameras. The sensor is very small in area, and the zoom is equivalent to 45 mm - 135 mm in full frame 35 mm terms. The flash had an effective range of 3 metres.
The companion model the RDC-300 had similar specifications except for an F3,8/4 mm (38 mm equiv.) fixed focus lens, with manual 'macro' capability.
This diagram created by VB allows us to measure the complexity of Ricoh's history.
