L'originalité esthétique n'est pas le point fort de ce modèle; c'est sobre et bien fabriqué. Il est facile à utiliser. Son zoom est intéressant avec sa focale de 28 mm. L'ouverture maxi n'est que f/3,3, mais vu l'encombrement du zoom par rapport à la taille de l'appareil, une ouverture plus grande n'était guère envisageable.
Jusqu'à la sensibilité de 400 ISO, les images sont très bonnes. Au-delà, le lissage anti-bruit est trop marqué.
il est possible de personnaliser l'appareil grâce aux modes "My". Dans ce cas, deux préréglages peuvent être mémorisés.
