Chronology of cameras Olympus
The IS-100s was announced in late 1995 to replace the IS-100. It was sold in the United States under the reference IS-10s.
Compared to the IS-100, the IS-100s offers long exposures (manually adjustable from 1 to 60 seconds) and a more powerful dual reflector flash. The battery compartment cover has also been modified, a small lever has been added as an alternative to the use of a coin.
The information in the viewfinder remains the same:
- flash availability indicator
- autofocus indicator
- under / over exposure indicator
- spot metering frame
- autofocus frame
The IS-100s was restyled in champagne livery with the IS-200 released in October 1997.
