Chronology of cameras Bardin
This magazine box camera is in the 6 x 9 format, but designed for horizontal photos as it has only one viewfinder, a type similar to a painter's mirror, which is not suitable at all for vertical shooting.
Cocking is done through the lever in front of the handle. There are four sector diaphragms with holes. Exposure and instant settings are the other available adjustments.
The plate retraction is achieved by a lever near the mirror, with an automatic frame counter.
It lacks any inscription, but the leather handle and the viewfinder associate this camera with the Meteor from this manufacturer.
Taking pictures in a horizontal position must not be easy without a specific viewfinder.
