Chronology of cameras Canon
Starting from the late 1950s, Canon expanded its range of rangefinder cameras by manufacturing a new type of camera, the single-lens reflex (SLR), which had previously been overlooked by the brand. Demand grew worldwide, whether from professionals or amateurs. However, Canon had to produce multiple models before offering one that could compete with the leading professional market model, the Nikon F.

... To be continued with the EOS series.
__________The T60 is the ultimate incarnation of the T family. It was released while the EOS range had already been in existence for several years. It was reserved for export outside of Japan.
The positioning of this camera, contrary to the rest of the range, is difficult to understand.
It is a shutter speed priority camera that accepts FD lenses. The material of the body is not exciting. It feels like dealing with a poor cousin of the AE-1.
