Minolta SR-2

Traduction de PB

First SLR camera developped by Minolta to compete against Asahi. Curiously it was named SR-2, and because of his price, was followed one year later by a cheapest version: the SR-1 which only had a maximum speed of 1/500th.

Main features :
- Quick return mirror,
- Semi- automatic diaphragm
- Horizontal focal plane shutter
- Speed 1s to 1/1000 and B
- Self timer

There is a black version of this camera: it is without a doubt one the rarest and most sought-after Minolta.
Delivered in standard with a Rokkor 55mm f:1:1.8. This lens marks the start of a long series of compatible MC bayonet mount lenses till the last non auto focus camera: X-9 (1990).
