Chronology of cameras Canon
Starting from the late 1950s, Canon expanded its range of rangefinder cameras by manufacturing a new type of camera, the single-lens reflex (SLR), which had previously been overlooked by the brand. Demand grew worldwide, whether from professionals or amateurs. However, Canon had to produce multiple models before offering one that could compete with the leading professional market model, the Nikon F.

__________The Pellix QL is a later version of the Pellix, marketed a year earlier. It is equipped with the Quick Loading (QL) system for fast film loading. The design of the self-timer has also been modified, making it identical to that of the FT QL.
For the QL version of the Pellix (as with the FT QL), the CdS light meter can be supplemented by an amplifier, the Canon Booster, which extends its measurement range in low light conditions.
