Chronology of cameras Ricoh
This is the European version of the Myport Zoom mini*, and the Shotmaster Ultra Zoom. It doesn’t have any form of red eye reduction, so it was soon followed by the FF-10s which in turn was the brother of the Myport Zoom mini PS and the Shotmaster Ultra Zoom II.
Surprisingly, it was made in Japan in 1992. The modest zoom lens (1.6X) was as much as could be expected in a compact for the time. The camera has a lock to prevent the back from being opened accidentally. Its' rounded shape without projections suggests that it was designed to fit into a large pocket.
*The Myport Zoom mini had a companion model, the Myport Zoom mini P with the ‘panorama’ feature added.
