Chronology of cameras Ricoh
This camera was known in Japan as the Myport 310 Super. It was released in the same year as the RZ-3000 which became a small series of its' own. In some respects it could be seen to be the litte brother of that model.
It has six flash modes; red eye reduction, flash off slow shutter, flash on, flash on slow shutter, flash on red eye reduction slow shutter, These can be combined with four more modes; low light, focus lock, continuous frames and the soft focus (portrait) setting. All of these options are presented on an impossibly small (2cm) wide screen.
It also has the 'panorama' feature and provision for remote electronic release. The lens will focus at 10 different focal lengths. This example has a date back.
