Le Auta d'avant-guerre se trouve plus souvent sous des noms de distributeurs français que sous son nom de baptême. Photo-Plait l'a largement diffusé sous le nom de Spidex de Luxe (1936).
Ici, il s'agit bien d'un Auta, mais sur lequel un objectif français a été monté : un Topaz 4,5/105. Il existe dans de nombreuses combinaisons d'objectifs et d'obturateurs.
