Chronology of cameras Lord

The Lord Special, probably manufactured by Foxtechna in the former Czechoslovakia circa 1947, is a all metal camera nearly handcrafted (approximate shapes, traces of file). The back is removable by unscrewing a knob under the body, it is maintained by deep grooves into which it fits.

The lens is telescopic, a pivoting blade reduces the aperture from f: 11 to f: 16.

The shutter offers instant and bulb (indications M and B).

The aesthetic is neat, textures and materials are used judiciously. Despite the difference in manufacturing this device reminds the MIOM Photax. One would think that there was a school of Czech design very inspired by Photax.
