This single-lens reflex camera is bulky and quite heavy. It is made of mahogany covered with leather and uses 9 x 12 cm plates. An adapter for film packs was also offered as an optional accessory.

This variant is equipped with a Goerz Berlin Dogmar lens, but it was also available with other models. The least expensive option featured an Aldis Butcher lens. The lens is attached with a 55 mm screw mount. The serial number is engraved on the front and also on the back of the lens.

The entire lens board can be vertically shifted by loosening a knob.

A cover conceals the lens when not in use, and when lifted, it serves as a lens hood.

The viewfinder cap, made of fabric, is sizable when unfolded. Framing is done through the ground glass on the top of the camera, with focus adjusted by a knob on the side of the camera. This knob extends or retracts the fabric bellows. There is also a second ground glass viewfinder at the rear.

On a small plate on the side, it is written "The Pressman."
