Chronology of cameras Beeckmans et Veys
The name "Bévé" for these cameras, of course, comes from the initials of the distributor's brand Beeckmans and Veys.
They bear a resemblance to many studio cameras from the 1920s and 1930s, but particularly with the Gilles-Faller or SOM Berthiot models. However, the similarity in the shapes of the rear side reinforcements is not sufficient to establish any direct connection.
The IIIA models are the most luxurious, as they are made of polished mahogany.
