Le premier modèle "Kenilworth" de la marque "Standard" est très simple. Il n'a aucun réglage, contrairement au modèle II.

Les vues sont au format 5,5 x 5,5 cm.

L'appareil est en carton épais, sauf le côté recevant l'avancement qui est en métal. La face avant est doublée à l'intérieur d'une épaisse plaque moulée en bakélite brun marbré contenant viseur, objectif et obturateur. Le tout est recouvert de papier beige gaufré.
