Chronology of cameras Zeiss Ikon

__________

This Box-Tengor (54/14) gives 5 x 7.5 cm negatives from type 129 film . Originally, it was made by Goerz, but following the formation of Zeiss Ikon, by merger of several companies , it is found from 1926 in the catalog of Zeiss Ikon. It is a metal box, sheathed in a rather coarse imitation leather. The two viewfinders are placed side by side horizontally. It seems that the first examples had the viewfinders placed one above the other and that the modification of the layout took place in 1928.

The type of film, not very common, and of a format quite close to the 120, undoubtedly slowed down sales and made the Box-Tengor (54/14) a less widespread model than other box cameras of the brand.
