Le Caplio GX rassemble beaucoup de qualités. C'est un 5 MP (ce qui est bien en 2004) avec un zoom optique x3, comprenant un vrai grand-angle. Il est rapide et donne des images de qualité. Il est possible d'y adjoindre un flash externe. La qualité de fabrication est irréprochable.
