Chronology of cameras Ricoh

This edition limited to 1000 items of the Ricoh GR Digital, has been released to commemorate the first anniversary of the GR Digital and the 10th anniversary of the Ricoh GR series started with the GR1 (film camera) in 1996.
The modification is not limited to the external appearance, at the shutdown the screen displays the drawing of the decoration theme's.

The author of the decoration is the Japanese illustrator Katsuya Terada.

1913	A few Japanese scientists had the idea of establishing a research institute.
1915	The proposal for the creation of the Rikagaku Kenkyūsho Institute of Physical and Chemical Research is presented to the Japanese parliament.
1917	The Riken Institute and Foundation are established.
1927	The Rikagaku Kõgyõ K.K. is created to manufacture and distribute products resulting from research, such as photographic papers.
