Chronology of cameras Royer

Traduction de C. Akgungor.

It was Royer who launched the Royflex III with a viewfinding system called Telelight, which consists a Fresnel lens and a crossed prisms rangefinder in its center. Another improvement -absolutely new in France- was the unique lever that was advancing the film and cocking the shutter in the same time. Inevitably, such improvements increased significantly the camera's price. In order to offer a more affordable camera to its customers, Royer launched the Royer 20 on which the Telelight was kept but not the simultaneous film advance/ shutter cocking. According to Vial, a simple advance button replaced the advance lever.
