Chronology of cameras Adox

After the Sport and the Golf in the early 1960s, here is a new series of 35 mm cameras whose name evokes dynamism, by associating a certain idea of luxury. But despite their name, some Polos are simple cameras, without much technicality, and even less luxury.

1 The Radionar L 2.8/45mm lens has a specificity, denoted by the L. Its lenses are coated by adding lanthanum oxide La2O3 to increase the refractive index. Lanthanum is one of the rare earth metals.

The Polomat 1 S differs from the Polomat 1 in many ways. The top is different because it integrates a cell, different from the Bertam, with a much larger window. The accessory shoe and the crank are better integrated and the top becomes flat. The data from the coupled exposure meter appear directly in the viewfinder.
