Chronology of cameras Agfa
The Colorflex cameras complete the Ambiflex series at the lower end. Like the Ambiflex, they are 24 x 36 SLR cameras with a central shutter, but their lens is fixed and their light meter is not coupled.
The two models of Colorflex differ from each other by the viewfinder mode:
Colorflex I with Color Apotar 2.8/50 on Prontor Reflex, with a waist-level viewfinder.
Colorflex II with a prism viewfinder.
The overall silhouette presents enough similarities that in the American market, Ambiflex and Colorflex are all marketed under the name Agfaflex.
__________The Agfaflex designation is strictly North American. It is through the Sears catalog (the American equivalent of Manufrance) that we present it here.
The camera is identical to the Colorflex I.
