As for the Cap Nord, Fex chose to use the body of Elite (6 X 9 cm and 6 X 6 cm) and to assemble there an optical group made of a lens 4,5 and a Atos shutter (1/25th with 1/250ème) to develop its top-of-the-range. The former part of the extractable tube on which is assembled the optical group was redrawn for better integrating the group into the remainder of the camera.
