Chronology of cameras Casio
The Casio QV-400 is built on the same structure as the Sony DSC-S85 and Canon G2, which were released a little earlier. They share the same 4.1 MP Sony CCD sensor, which explains why the Sony model was released first. It shares its lens with the Canon model. Apart from aesthetic aspects, the Casio differs from the other two only in its software and ergonomics. For instance, it displays the exposure histogram overlaying the image, which its counterparts do not. It is fast at triggering compared to most cameras on the market at the time, excluding DSLRs.
