Kodak Instamatic 224

Traduction de Sylvain Halgand.

224 has a body of not very common form in the Kodak 126 series. Only the 220 and 324 have a body with the finder also shifted compared to the front face. The 224 seems to be the Flashcube version of the 220, which uses bulbs AG-1.
The lens is Reomar 5,6 with fix-focusing . It has two speeds : 1/125 and 1/30 (with the flash). The diaphragm is regulated by symbols.
The 224 was manufactured from 1966 to 1968. At Kodak AG, it is known as being type 059.
This camera was worth in 1966 (Natkin catalogs) 150 francs only or 163 francs in outfit.
