Chronology of cameras Ouyama - New Taiwan Photographic Corporation
Ouyama is also known as New Taiwan Photographic Corporation (NTPC). Like those of Formosa Plastics Corporation (FPC), NTPC's products are plastic, of poor quality (from a photographic perspective), and are found under multiple names, often used as promotional gifts. The Canomatic is representative of this manufacturer. It appears that FPC manufactured for NTPC.
The other products can be grouped into several types:

Thank you Thierry for lending this to me. I know you value this camera a lot, so I won't delay in returning it to you.
What's wrong with this one? It's easy to say "everything," but still, such a concentrated mess deserves attention.
The bulge above the lens gives the impression that there's a prism for reflex viewing... except the viewfinder is off-center and not reflex. The ergonomic finger rest isn't in the right position. It would have been preferable if it were vertical. Holding the camera with fingers on the right-hand notches is impossible. Thankfully, the retaining strap, a sign of professionalism no doubt, should allow for it. But then, it's not the right finger that lands on the shutter button.
If we ignore the finger rest and strap to return to a more photographic rather than camcorder-like grip, no luck, fingers end up in front of the flash!
The bulky appendage housing the flash must be intended to signify an innovative autofocus motor, but the lens is fixed-focus.
Supreme refinement, and this is not fake, there's a film advance and rewind motor (in case you feel like taking a few photos).
It's called Ocean (funny to see that it's a registered trademark), but the fish still haven't come back.
Is its inspiration from the Ricoh Mirai or the Olympus AZ 330?
